Dogs are allowed at Columbia’s Sesquicentennial State Park and there’s even an off-leash area. You’ll also find baseball fields and basketball courts. Boat rentals are available for a fee and camp sites can be rented by the night for a fee also. There are scenic hiking trails at Granby Park to enjoy on an afternoon in Columbia and at Riverfront Park & Historic Columbia Canal your can fish, bike, or even bird watch. Barney Jordan Landing is another Columbia park that’s just along the Congaree River. So patrons can fish or boat and do any other water recreational activity here.
